2023 Art Contest
We are thrilled to announce our inaugural art contest in partnership with the North Suburban Center of the Arts. Our aim is to encourage the community to exhibit their artistic talents by creating a new art piece for our brewery, Forgotten Star Brewery. We believe this contest will provide an excellent opportunity for aspiring artists to showcase their skills, and we are excited to see the amazing pieces that will emerge from this collaboration.
The art pieces submitted for the contest must be related to Forgotten Star Brewery. However, we want to encourage participants to think creatively and not limit themselves to just depicting the building. The artwork can incorporate anything that relates to our brewery, such as our history, our values, our beers, or anything else that inspires them. We are looking forward to seeing the unique and imaginative ideas that our talented artists will bring to the table.

Ages 12 and below

Declaring the Winner & Prizes
Once the contest deadline has passed, the brewery administration staff will review all submissions and select the top 5 art pieces. These pieces will then be displayed at the brewery for customers to cast their votes. It's a straightforward process: the art piece with the most votes wins. To participate in the voting process, customers can purchase any drink (including non-alcoholic options) and receive three separate voting slips – one for each division – allowing them to vote for their favorite pieces. With each visit, customers are entitled to three voting slips, giving them the opportunity to vote for multiple pieces over the course of the voting period. We are looking forward to engaging our customers in this exciting process and can't wait to see which piece will be crowned the winner!
Not only will the winner of the 2023 Forgotten Star art contest receive the honor of winning, but they will also be rewarded with a $250 gift card. The second-place winner will receive a $100 gift card and the third-place winner will receive a $50 gift card. Additionally, the winning artwork will be displayed at the North Suburban Center of the Arts, and the design will be used to create a t-shirt that will be sold in our store. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the t-shirt will be donated to support the North Suburban Center of the Arts. We are excited to offer these prizes to the winners and hope that they will inspire even more creativity and participation in the contest.
